Gen 2 ARB Locker Installation

Mod by: Dick H.

June 6 2011: Just finished having the ARB locking differential installed in my 2010 S. The work was done by Leonard of Leonard’s Offroad in Hillsboro, Oregon.

3 hours to install the differential, 3.5 hours for the compressor, wiring, mount fab, etc.

$1500 for locker and install thru Leonard.

Hint – If you use Leonard, let him order the part. He will save you money and you will be on his ‘white list’.

I had occasion to use it on an OR/ID/NV run. It worked well. The computerized traction control would have probably gotten me over the obstacle, but the ARB was ‘smoother’ plus you can lock it without being in 4 lo.

Hint for using a locker: Activate it BEFORE you need it.
