With alot of the Pacific Northwests best wheelin destinations still under a blanket of snow, PNWX decided to make a run out to Tahuya State Forest on Washingtons Olympic Peninsula.
In attendance were Pacopico, darfishin, Mersiles, Mudphud, Conman and DaveX. The latter two crossing the border to make it down.
While the trails in Tahuya are generally wide open with lots of bypasses, there are some challenging hill climbs, huge puddles, and numerous areas to try your rock crawling skills. We traversed all three with the only recovery equipment employed being a Hi-lift jack when Conman found a stump to get high centered on. As everyone knows, Conman always brings alot of fun and excitement on a run and he didn’t let us down this time.
A great time was had by all and we hope to see YOU next time!
